‘Working mom golfer’ Park wins Aminorigen’s June MIG award

Park Ju-young, 33, has been honored as the Most Impressive Golfer (MIG), an award given to a player who has been consistent throughout the month.

On June 2, Park was named Aminoligen’s MIG for the month of June by SportsW, a magazine specializing in women’s sports.

The award, organized by SportsW and sponsored by sports nutrition startup E4A Nutrition, was established last year to recognize golf fans for their interest in players on the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour.

Each month, one player will be honored who has made a significant improvement in their game or performance, or who has made a special mark in tour history. Tournament winners are not eligible for the award.

Park got married last year and announced her pregnancy shortly afterward, and went on maternity leave after the Doosan Match Play Championship in May of that year.토토사이트
After a bit of an adjustment period at the beginning of the season, Park returned to the Tour in June and has been playing as consistently as she did before her pregnancy. In addition to her performance on the tour, Park is also setting a good example for younger players.
