It has been argued that central defender Lee Han-beom (21, FC Seoul) will soon advance to professional European football.안전놀이터

Enes Bai (Turkiye), a scout for 11 years, said on the 13th (Korean time), “Lee Han-beom has a lot of potential and good foot skills (as a center back), so he plans to move to Europe soon.”

Bye, who has the England Football Association’s leadership qualification, shared information about Lee Han-beom’s imminent trip to Europe to the Turkiye members of the Professional Football Scout Association (PFSA), saying, “Please note.”

Lee Han-beom played full-time at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup and supported Korea’s advance to the quarterfinals. As a member of FC Seoul, he played 42 K-League 1 matches, 1 goal and 2 assists, and 3 FA Cup matches.

Lee Han-beom, who will turn 21 on the 17th, is already a central defender who is heavily favored in Korean professional football, with an average playing time of FC Seoul reaching 79.3 minutes per game.

This is not the first time that PFSA Turkiye scouts have taken note of Lee Han-beom. Ali Jan Kutlu, who has a UEFA coach license, revealed during the transfer market last summer, “I and my colleagues are keeping an eye on the finals of the world competition four years ago.”

Coutlu said, “If someone asks me about a Korean center back after Kim Min-jae (27, Naples), I say Lee Han-beom. It is also an advantage to digest FC Seoul games regularly (at an age that is not strange even if it is still a non-weekly match),” he added.

Kutlu, who is providing consulting to the Turkiye football team, is the person who recommended Kim Min-jae to recruit him, saying, “There is a monster defender in Asia,” several months before Min-jae Kim signed a contract with Fenerbahce in August 2021.

That is why it is all the more meaningful that Coutlu pointed out Lee Han-beom as Korea’s next-generation centerback, even though he said, “It doesn’t mean that he can play at the same level as Kim Min-jae right now.”
