Atkins general manager said, “Both Hyun-jin Ryu and Green will be facing hitters next month and will be able to put them into practice.”

Ryu Hyun-jin, who underwent surgery in June of last year, aims to return in the second half of his career. He is expected to be able to return as expected if he faces hitters starting in June.

Prior to the 2020 season, Ryu Hyun-jin, who signed a four-year, $80 million free agent contract with Toronto, is the final year of his contract this season. He pitched in 49 games for Toronto over the past three seasons, going 21-12 with a 4.07 ERA.
