Continuing the uptrend in May, Bae Ji-hwan hits and walks in 3 consecutive games on base

Bae Ji-hwan (23, Pittsburgh Pirates) succeeded in getting on base twice with a hit and a walk. 3 games in a row  

On the 8th (Korean time), Bae Ji-hwan started as the 8th batting center fielder in the 2023 MLB home game against the Oakland Athletics held at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, and recorded 1 hit, 1 walk and 1 run in 3 at-bats. 먹튀검증

Bae Ji-hwan’s batting average for the season rose slightly from 0.275 to 0.276 (45 hits in 163 at-bats). 

Bae Ji-hwan took the lead at the end of the third inning, trailing 1-7, and had to catch opponent starter Hogan Harris’ cut fastball to score a hit. It was a three-game hitting streak created by his quick feet. 

Bae Ji-hwan, who withdrew with a ground ball from shortstop in the 4th inning and a straight hit from shortstop in the 7th inning, got on base with a lead batter walk at the end of the 9th inning, trailing 4-9. After that, he added up to his 29th goal of the season. 

Bae Ji-hwan recorded 4 hits in 10 at-bats, 2 RBIs, 3 runs and 2 walks in 4 games in June, continuing his batting average of 0.304 (21 hits in 69 at-bats) last month. On the 5th against St. Louis, he went 2 hits in 4 at-bats, and against Oakland on the 6th, he recorded 1 hit and 1 walk in 3 at-bats, recording two or more bases in three consecutive games. 

However, Pittsburgh lost 5-9 as starter Roanci Contreras collapsed with 6 hits, 2 walks and 7 runs while getting 1 out.
